What Causes Chest Pain And Fatigue?

Hi.. Been suffering from pain in chest and fatigue for almost two months.. Did several tests. ECG and X-ray are fine but ESR is high. Chest pain was reduced with eroprofin but fatigue doubled! I have extremely red eyes and body ache. My doctor said he d call back if I need further tests but he never did.. But I feel more tired everyday. I am usually a very active person, nowadays I need to rest between the rests. Please advise.

Hi,

Extreme fatigue needing rest in between rests and chest pain wherein the ECG and X-ray of chest are normal along with red eyes and body ache can be due to the following reasons:
-Costochondritis causing chest pain which is not picked by any tests or investigations and can be diagnosed only by clinical examination. Hence request your Doctor to see for this.
-Costochondritis can in turn be due to a disease that has caused other symptoms.
-Typhoid, tuberculosis, recurrent viral infections can cause such problems.
-Stress and anxiety add on to the existing problems.

Hence you need further evaluation. Change of lifestyle to suit to alleviation of symptoms. Further management as per the investigations and clinical evaluation. Also go for the tests of thyroid, liver and kidney functions, vitamin estimation as Vitamin D deficiency can cause such symptoms.
