What Causes Chest Pain And Palpitations?

I am a healthy nineteen year old female. For the last few months my heart has been fluttering often, usually when I am lying down. Within the last few weeks my chest has had a dull ache and has just started having sharp, intense pain in the left side of my chest. Is this very serious, or just in my head?

Hello!

This might be due to some anxiety related condition or due to other conditions like Anemia or cardiac condition! All you need is to visit your doctor and get proper treatment from them.

I will try to answer your query

The chest pain in young is usually due to the non cardiovascular disease
The most important thing that you can be found to have may be gastritis
The gastric acids burn stomach wall that the brain interprets to be A chest pain

You may try a Prescription of antacids like proton pump inhibitors eg pantoprazole
you may also think about getting an endoscopy
However I have a tendency to be a bit more conservative

And I usually do not have to Ask my patients to go for the same if antacids are initially started
