Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I ve been pitching (softball) more than usual the past four days, and today I have sharp chest pain which worsens when I take in a deep breath and shoots into my upper back. I also have back, neck, arm, and shoulder pain, but that s most likely from the windmill motion and could just be soreness. I ve been pitching for eight years now and this is the first time I ve had chest pain like this. I just wanted to make sure I wasn t dying.. ha.. Thank you for your time.
I think, the way you are explaining us your problems, you have more problems of mind than body. Kindly calm up your mind and find out do you have any frustration or Depression.
If so, then please visit a psychiatrist and get it solved or you only can control it with meditation, yoga, and exercises.
Your pain could be due to lung or cardiac pathology also so kindly get one chest x-ray and EKG done to rule out both the condition. Kindly get back to us with the reports for the further treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
