Hello
The pain you described may be due to
gastroesophageal reflux disease /pleural pain due to
pleuritis.
May I know about your addiction habits?
If pain increases with spicy food,or there is excessive phlegm production ,GERD may be suspected.
You can take
Omeprazole in morning for 5-7 days.
Avoid alcohol,hot and spicy food.
Visit to gastroenterologist to confirm the diagnosis and assess the severity of situation.Radiological studies or Upper GI
endoscopy may be required.
If pain increasing while breathing in,coughing ,it may be pleuritic pain.
Get your chest X ray done for that.
Besides this, you need to do all basic blood investigations like blood glucose,
blood lipids.
There is a third possibilty. If there is frequent exposure to air pollutants outdoors or at workplace,it may cause such symptoms. So always protect yourself from second hand smoke and other toxic fumes or air pollutants.
Thanks.
