What Causes Chest Pain In A Person Suffering With Obstructive Sleep Apnea?

my husband started having right upper chest pain today. its a sharp pain that worsens when he bends over to pick something off the floor. there is no increase in pain with inspiration. he has sleep apnea and he has recently started on bipap for central and obstructive sleep apnea. He also has a significant cardiac history, but says it doesnt feel cardiac or muscular. any idea what this may be or how we should treat it?

Hi,

Lack of oxygen can lead to high blood pressure and heart disease. You can develop IHD or CAD. A common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck, or jaw.
