General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
If yo have chest pain there might be several causes of it. The fact that it is mostly at night might be due to acid reflux fro the stomach and some antiacids might help and having frequent small amounts of food and avoiding smoking, caffeine and alcohol and fatty spicy food. Also it is good to have a visit with a doctor to rule out a heart problem by having blood pressure check, pule check, ECG and probably heart ultrasound. If all these are normal than treatment for acid reflux is safe and worth trying.
Hope this is helpful and answers to your question
