Hello,

The thing that you have done best is to do an ECG. But in some cases, ECG comes to be normal. And yes, tension headache is one of the big cause in this case. But to be on safe side, I would suggest some tests:
1. Complete Blood Tests including Fasting Blood Sugar and Lipid Profile
2. Morning of Blood Pressure of consecutive 3 days
3. Chest X-Ray
4. Head CT
5. EEG
6. Thyroid hormones (T3, T4, TSH)

Do remember, do a repeat ECG after 2 months.
In this age, the heart may start failing a little. May be it is not so significant for which the ECG may not show anything. But the tests above can cover all possible causes and so, if there is anything wrong for now, it should get revealed. Meanwhile, you can take Paracetamol for headache. I also suggest you to start Atorvastatin for prevention of Cardiovascular disease in the future.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
