What Causes Chest Pain On The Left Side?

Am a 67 year old female with a pacemaker and well controlled atrial fibrillation. No history of heart attack. Started having a dull ache in left chest yesterday and didn t sleep much last night. Ache is still there and is more noticeable with deep breath. No nausea, but lots of gas yesterday and loose bowel movement this a.m. Not sweating or feeling weak. Ten minutes ago my blood pressure was 122/65 and pulse 64. Is this something I should have checked at an ER? I have a doctor apt in a few hours with gynecologist.

Hi,

Thanks for your query on HCM

I do understand your concern

“As” per your clinical history is concerned it looks like infection so check your stool for it and if infection found take antibiotic as well as any Proton-pump inhibitor which will be prescribed by your doctor.

Hope that helps
