Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in this region may need further tests in order to determine its origin (possible bulging disk in the cervical vertebral column), acid reflux or a cardiac issue. For this reason, I recommend performing some tests:
- A resting ECG
- A chest X-ray study
- Inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR)
- A cervical spine X-ray study

Further tests (an exercise cardiac stress test, a cervico / thoracic spine MRI or fibro-gastroscopy) may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
