What Causes Chest Pain Radiating To The Back?

Frequent discomforting pain at chest around solar plexus area - for about a week now. Did get the same pain in the past but occasionally. Sometimes pain will carry right through to the back. I am 54 years old and taking rosuvastatin 10mg and ASA 80mg for preventative measures. I know I ve been stressed at work for the past couple of weeks.

Hi,

thank you for providing a brief history of you. If the pain is in the chest and radiating to the left side arm or back, i will recommend you to get yourself checked once with a cardiologist, there is no harm getting checked. Always a specialist is there outside for the help of the patients. you are 54 years old, and we do not know much about your physical activity level, either its more of a physical job or more of a chair bound job. Stress may lead to any form of symptoms, but when it comes to chest and left side radiating then it is not wrong to get self check assessed by a specialist.

with the grace of god i wish you a good health
