Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 14. He had a chest pain that he said felt like stabbing and went through the back. It may have lasted 20 - 30 minutes. He said he had pain as high as a 10 but slower went down and now has none. How he explained was that the pain came and went away. He thought he ate too fast, he had eaten a chickfala sandwich with French fries and lemonade and maybe less than 30 minutes this happened to him. We started to go to ER but by the time we got there the pain went away.

What Causes Chest Pain Radiating To The Back?
Hello, We have to rule out cardiac causes like angina first. Consult a cardiologist and plan for an ECG. As of now you can take drugs like tramadol for pain relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
