Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So, I am feeling pain in my chest, it feels more around my sternum. An example of how it seems to feel is if you swallow too much of something starch, as if something is clogged or there is a lot of pressure. When I breathe in, the air feels cold and it feels like my lungs have too much air already. Is this part of the common cold or should I be worried?
Chest pain is and the sensation of air filling the chest is very common with a viral infection but if you are having common cold for more than a week now, or you are any worse or you have any fever, fatigue, shortness of breath or bring up phlegm with cough or have chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart and lung problems, etc, it is best to have a check with your doctor.
