What Causes Chest Pain Radiation To The Left Shoulder?

What is a stinger? My daughter experienced chest pains that traveled up to her left shoulder and down her left arm making her fingers tingly and numb. She is 32 with high blood pressure. Been on BP med since 18. The pa at walk in clinic said she was experiencing a stinger like when football players hit head on. She was changing sheets when pain started and when took deep breathes hurt more

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given and understand the concern you have. The pain described appears to be similar to anginal pain, which occurs when blood vessels supplying the heart muscles (coronary arteries) are affected. My suggestion is get a through check up of the heart, ECG and/or echo cardio gram, that should help in identifying the problem. Thanks.
