Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I exercised for 4 min and 53 seconds of Bruce protocol achieving 7.00 METS .His heart rate rose from 67 to 153 bpm (100% age-predicted maximum heart rate) and his blood pressure from 128/73 mmHg to 161/88 m I had chest pain at peak exercise lasting 10 minutes into recovery which resolved after one s/l nitroglycerine.
Hello, you haven't mentioned electrocardiographic changes although I suspect there had to be some. Feeling pain when exercising and the rest of the findings suggest coronary artery disease. There are methods to confirm or exclude this diagnosis. The anatomy of the coronary vessels should be investigated. You should consult your cardiologist for the best investigation strategy that's suited to your medical history and condition. Kind Regards!
