Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been to the er 20 times in the last3 years with chest pains only to continously be told its anxity but the anxity meds dont help and now for the last 2 days i aave had severe chest pain when im laying down im am really getting worried wut could cause this
The chest pain seen in cardiac conditions can be mimicked by conditions relating to the gastrointestinal tract and so the next time you get chest pain request the medical staff to administer 40 my of pantoprazole I.v or take oral tablets of the same.
Another condition I have found to match cardiac chest pain is costochondritis, which is more common in women and usually comes down with the help of NSAIDs (e.g. Ibuprofen, diclofenac, etc.). Please speak to your doctor to adequately rule out these conditions as well which can cause non-cardiac chest pain.
Best wishes
