What Causes Chest Pain While Suffering From A Hole In The Heart?

Hi ! Im vino.my mother is suffering from heart hole and damaged pericardium.today my mother really feel severe pain in her chest. My mothers age is 35.what should i do when she is suffering from heart pain? And how can it be cured ? What are the necessary steps must i take during her heart pain?

Hi,

As you mention about a hole in heart and this possibly can be defect in the valves of heart.it can be defect of either mitral value, tricuspid value. Any problem in the heart can cause problem in blood circulation and puts further pressure on heart to pump.

This can cause pain around heart,chest and even shoulders and back. In the absence of examination ,case history and investigation it would be difficult to treat her.

Diseases around chest and heart needs to be taken seriously. I suggest you please take her to a cardiologist and get her examined properly so that according to her problem drugs and treatment can be initiated.
