What Causes Chest Pain While Walking In A Heart Patient?

I have had 4 heart-caths, 2 stents, a CAT-Scan of my heart and throat, and MRI of my head, but why do I still have chest pains shortly after I begin walking? If I m walking on a flat surface, such as in a building, I have no problem, but if there are stairs involved, the pain will start or if I m walking on unlevel ground, etc.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Climbing stairs/walking on uneven surface increases physical/psychological stress, causing excessive strain to heart muscles, which can not be dealt with without sufficient blood supply to heart muscle.

Such condition causes your symptoms. You need to undergo stress test/a biography & plasty as per need. Please consult a cardiac surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
