What Causes Chest Pain, low Grade Fever And Intense Headaches?

I have had several problems ongoing for most of my life and some more recent that I have seen a doctor for with no real answers. Most recently, past 2-3 years, I have had pain in my chest which is usually around the time of swelling in my lower extremities. Sometimes, like now, having pain in my right lower jaw. Have low grade fevers often and have been having intense headaches daily. Rashes on body often chest and face.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from intense headache, pain in the right lower jaw, swelling of the lower extremities, pain chest and rashes on the chest and face. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene, take bath 2-3 times a day. Wear cotton clothes. You can apply ointment Soframycin on the area affected with the rashes. Take antihistamine to reduce reaction due to allergy. Swelling in the lower extremities are indicative of water retention, varicose veins, venous insufficiency, kidney problem, overweight, developing heart problems, etc.

Since you are having chest pain and jaw pain, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a cardiologist. Get electrocardiogram (EKG), X-ray, echocardiogram, CT scan, exercise stress test, blood workouts, ESR, etc., to rule out any developing CAD. You will be accordingly treated. Headache may be due to dehydration, tension and stress, acidity, exposure to strong smell, paints, oil, etc. Stay away from addictions if any. Take quality sleep at night.

Hope I have answered your question. Take care.

Regards,
Dr Nupur K
