Hello,

I need to know if you have past history of diabetes or heart disease along with hypertension or not? Have you ever experienced shortness of breath and palpitations with this pain? Does it come with taking meals? What is the effect of deep respiration on it?

I suggest you visit your doctor as soon as possible to undergo some tests like ECG and chest X-rays to rule out respiratory and cardiac issues. It could also be due to acid peptic disease which needs to be evaluated too.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
