What Causes Chest Tightness And Dizziness While Taking Olmesartan And Lithocent?
sir, i have been on lithocent CR(one in mor and one in eve)for 9 yrs now. very much adjusted to it. of late i have been facing bp problem 170/110. i was prescribed to take olmisartan-20. i started using it. but bp is hardly down. 160/90 or 100 is usually observed all the time with some side effects like chest tightening ,dizziness, fast heart beat etc. pl tell whether olmisartan s interaction with lithocent is affecting me in any way (by increasing the toxicity of lithocent.) can i switch to aten 25 with amlodipine 0.25 which is commonly used by every one. i have no other problems as of now. or could you suggest one preferable drug to keep my bp and my pulse rate trouble-free.regards xxxxx
Olmisartan should be switched to another drug, lithium can increase drug levels or toxicity too. Check with a cardiologist once and take a psychologist follow up.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
