What Causes Chest Tightness And Numbness Behind Tongue Inspite Of Taking Amoxicillin?

Hi, i went to a ENT because my pcp couldn t figure what was wrong with me . trouble swallowing she thought I had a food allergies. So the ENT told me I have a throat infection prescripted amoxicillin 3 time a day for 10 day . Day 4 I feel like I m losing my voice and felt the tightness of my chest , also feel the numbness in the back of my tongue. Is it normal? Pls help

I went through your details. The symptoms you provide seems to be related to anxiety disorder due to obsession rather than anything organic. You went to your PCP and then to your ENT. Both of them analyzed your condition and ENT prescribed you with anti-biotic for throat or general infection with a three day dose. He gave you 3 days dose because he did not find anything more severe or beyond control. You may consult the ENT specialist again to confirm. I also suggest you to consult a psychologist for counseling and related therapies. Take care.
