Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 54 yo, last month I started having chest tightness (thought it was stress, but after a week vacation in Florida- it did not go away), hard to take a deep breath and my voice gets hoarse and I feel like I am straining my voice by the end of the workday. My BP and pulse is normal. I had been running 3 miles 2x/week prior to this starting 1 month ago. no smoking, and social drinking. I am worried since my sister passed in July at 60 yo with non-smokers lung cancer after a 18 month battle. I have a appt with my PCP next week- should I see an ENT? what should I be asking about?
