What Causes Chillness In The Legs Of A COPD Patient?
I had the flu for 3 weeks in December. I cannot get warm and my legs are freezing. I complained about the heat in my apartment and the management thinks I am nuts..I Have COPD. 19 years no smoking and I have been morbidly obese for 25 years but just lost 45 lbs. I had the 2 pneumonia shots and 2 cateract operations recently. please know heart disease is in my family poor circulation but no diabetes and my bp is excellent for a 70 year old. YYYY@YYYY Thank you.
You should consider having your thyroid hormone levels assessed to determine if this is playing a role in your symptoms. Low levels of thyroid hormone can cause cold intolerance. The circulation in your legs would also need assessment by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
