What Causes Chills After A Surgery?

Hi there, I just had surgery on my benign tumor and my urologist had to remove half of my right kidney because according to the Ct scan results the tumor was all around my right kidney. After surgery I ve been having chills every now and then even when it s warm, my urologist is it of town right now, should I go to the emergency? Also another thing I was worried about: I went to get a Pap smear done last week and I tested pierce for hpv and. Ow I m scheduled for a biopsy or colopscy on the 14th of this month, do you Know if my surgery has anything to do with my positive results of my Pap smear?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The chills may be due to post operative infection.

Better to consult a physician at the earliest and get evaluated.

Once cervical cancer has confirmed you have to go for total hysterectomy according to the stage of the tumor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
