What Causes Chills After Having Mosquito Bites?

Wednesday night I got two mosquito bites that were immediately very large in size, larger than I've ever received. I had chills today. I live in E. Bridgewater, MA where they have Positive West Nile cases. Could this be West Nile or EEE? Does the size of the bites matter?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Size of the mosquito bites what you have got could be due to an allergic skin reaction. Probably because of that, you are feeling chills too.
No need to get worried about it right now.
Kindly take the following medications:
1. Tablet. Levocetrizine one tablet a day for 3 days to treat allergic reaction.
2. Tablet. Paracetamol 650mg twice a day for 2 days to treat chills.
In case you develop fever after few days, you need to get tested for mosquito borne illness like West Nile, malaria and dengue.
