What Causes Chills Along With Fever Post Cystography Procedure?

I had a cystography done today. Everything seems to be fine. Peeing with no prob other than the stent hurts. My paper work said to call doctor if i got chills or fever. I had chills b4 i left the hospital and thought it was just bc it was cold in there. But also had them at home for a while with a small fever of 101.06 to 100.0 i called doctor twice but no answer. As of right now no chills or fever. Is there anything i should be worried about?

thank you for asking your concern and welcome to hcm. generally it is not ok if there is fever with chill post procedure. as you are saying two episodes of fever then you have to take antibiotic for it. i would suggest tablet ofloxacin 400 mg twice daily for five days atleast. please drink plenty fluid. if you feel any change in color or consistency of urine you have to visit your doctor. if you are already on any antibiotic then there is no need to take this but if you are not then you can.
