What Causes Chills Along With Sickness At The Smell Of Certain Foods?

My husband on four different occasions has suddenly got chills and a wave of sickness come over him at the smell of certain foods. it only last for a few minutes. This time it was arby s roast beef, last time it was progresso soup. Can you tell me the possible reasons for this?

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms may be possible with viral infection just wait for couple of days for the obvious symptoms if this does not ever happens then this could be due to nonspecific reason and may be some functional possibly is there, take care.
