What Causes Chills Along With Wheezing And Sore Throat?

hi, i was wondering if i nee to go to ER. I have been having the chills, and hot and cold off and on for a few days. now i am wheezing with a sore throat. i went 2 weeks ago, they sent me home with no meds, just told me i had a respiratory virus, and it had to run its course.

Hello dear, thank you for using HCM. I have read your query and understand your concern. As it is seen your situation is getting worse and is lasting more than normal ,more than two weeks. I think you had a viral infection and now was put a bacterial infection over. At this point you have to take an antibiotic amoxicillin is recomanded for tonsillitis and pneumonia to be talen 500mg evert 8 hours for a week. Best regards.
