What Causes Chills, Fever, Bloating And Discomfort In Stomach After Kidney Stone Surgery?
I had a kidney stone broken up and removed surgically a week ago. My stomach has balloned out and so uncomfortable. Not eating much but drinking water only. After 3 days after surgery I started a stool softener and laxative and been having 3-4 bms a day. I stopped taking tamsulosin and ketorolac but still on Cipro antibiotic. Not feeling right tonight chills and 99.7 temperature. Why is this happening? Also I had symptoms of uti infections since end of April but really wasn t and given 3 rounds of antibiotic over the 3 months which I think was stone but lodged all this time.
According to the history you provide do not worry about. It's early after surgery and these symptoms are normal, however, the most important thing is that with the passing days they should slowly disappear. If they last more than one month then you should discuss with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
