What Causes Chlamydia Trachomatis Infection After Anal Intercourse?

Hi, just over a week ago my partner and I had anal intercourse for the first time and right afterwards had vaginal intercourse. (both unprotected) The day after, he was discomforting symptoms so immediately went to the doctor. A week afterwards I had intercourse with another partner, only very briefly and stopped due to excessive bleeding from my period. Just two days ago the first partner told me he had contracted chlamydia, but not from any other partner, and I just went to test myself. Is it possible that he contracted the STD from anal intercourse, and I don t have it? And if so, it is likely that my second partner has contracted chlamydia despite our brief intercourse (a few minutes) and that I was on my period? Thanks!

There is high chance of you to contract Chlamydia from unprotected sexual intercourse in terms of anal as well as vaginal part. Your partner can too get the same from you even if it was a brief period contact. Kindly let yourself checked and convey your another partner also to get checked at earliest possible period and get therapy accordingly.
