What Causes Chlorine And Bleach Taste In The Mouth While Coughing?
I can t breathe been on strongest antibiotics for 2 weeks plus multiple steroid injection nothing is opening me up taste like chlorine and bleach wen cough nobody is doing anything for me I think i need another bronchoscopy I feel like my pulmonologist is failing me wat do I do catscan r clear but I can t take it anymore
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of chlorine and bleach taste in the mouth while coughing which seems to be due to post nasal drip. Sinusitis and infected phlegm are other possible causes for this.
I would suggest you to consult pulmonologist and get evaluated and get throat swab culture, sputum culture test and chest x-ray to rule out other causes.
Till then you should do warm saline gargles and take mucolytic agents. avoid cold beverages and take soft and light diet. Avoid sharp and fried food.
