Chlorine taste in mouth could be because of laryngo pharyngeal reflux which means back flow of food or stomach acid all the way back to throat/
larynx. This will bad taste in mouth. Viral oral infection could be a cause for this. along with bad taste it can cause trouble in breathing, swallowing, sorethroat, postnasal drip.
-Ways this can be resolved is avoidance of caffeine, chocolate, soda, coffee.
-Avoid eating with in 2-3 hrs of bed time and don not lie down immediately after having food.
-Antacids such as
pantoprazole,
omeprazole,
ranitidine can be used to avoid acids.
- Change in life style like regular exercise, avoidance of
stress.
