What Causes Choking Sensation In The Throat And Spitting Blood After Eating?
sometimes when i swallow it feels to get stuck at the bottom of my throat or the top of my stomach, the pain issharp and strong right at the bottom of my rib cage direct center. when this happens i spit/puke up lots of mucus. today it took a long time to subside and their was trace blood in the mucus. my cousin had to have his stomach flap surgery and my mother has same swallowing problem.................NEVER MIND I HAVE ACHALASIA JUST GOOGLED IT THANKS ANYWAY
Achalasia can cause difficulty with swallowing and pain. On the other hand, a check to rule out structural causes is important. I would recommend you to have an upper endoscopic examination to visualize the esophagus and the stomach and rule out important conditions. If the endoscopy is normal then very likely achalasia is the cause of your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
