Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Choking Sensation In Throat After Persistent Vomiting?
I ve just vomited multiple times and now feel a lot better apart from the feeling of something stuck behind my tonsils. I can taste it as it tastes like my vomit. I ve tried drinking and gargling water, gargling mouthwash and brushing my teeth but nothing s getting rid of it. What do I do?
Try gargling with sparkling water. If that does not help and the sensation persists beyond the next 24 hours, I suggest you see an ENT doctor for a laryngoscopy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen
