What Causes Choking Up On Minocycline Pill?
I am on minocycline. Four times in the past 6 months, I have taken one of my two daily pills and almost burped up what I feel like was the capsule powder. When I have done so, it has made me choke very bad to a point of not being able to breath. Today it happened, and I was very afraid. I was gasping for breath. I eventually get over the spell but for an hour after my throat is irritated and needs constant clearing. What is this from?

Minocycline can cause a severe skin rash that can be fatal. You can experience fever, sore throat, burning in your eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling. Stop taking minocycline and consult your doctor.
