What Causes Chronic Abdominal Pain And Vomiting In A Child?

My 6 yr old son complained of a stomachache on Friday. He was bent over in pain, but no fever or vomiting. Today he complained of stomach pain and has vomited twice. Low grade fever, no protruding bumps. He is sleeping now. What should I be aware of. We have a Drs appt in the am. But I am worried about appendicitis.

its probably a case of acutegastroenteritis. you need to give as much fluids and soft diet and a five day course of antibiotics.if the pain is severe in the right lower part of abdomen,then it might be appendicitis.get complete blood picture done and also an usg abdomen,to be on safe side.
