What Causes Chronic Chest Pain, Nausea And Vomiting In A Mechanical Valve Patient?
I am 47, female, non smoker, with mechanical aortic heart valve since 2010, about 40 lbs overweight and high BP. I m having chronic chest pains ( heartburn?) . Eating approx 20+ chewable antacids a day which only temporarily relieves chest discomfort for a few minutes at a time. When I bend over (to tie shoes, pick something up etc) the pain in my chest is almost unbearable until I straighten my upper body. Acidic foods, drinks, red sauces etc intensify symptoms. Also experiencing nausea and vomiting randomly.

What Causes Chronic Chest Pain, Nausea And Vomiting In A Mechanical Valve Patient?
Hello, Since you are overweight & hypertensive, you should get treated for hypertension & maintain a low BMI. Do regular exercises & take healthy food. Get treated for GERD/IBS. You should take high fiber diet & plenty of water. Avoid constipation. Take PPI s to get rid of abdominal problems & chest pain. Get liver function tests done to rule out liver dysfunction. Get connected to cardiologist & get all cardiac tests, investigation & Imaging tests done to rule out any developing pathology. Hope I have answered your query.
