What Causes Chronic Constipation?

Last week I got badly constipated (big, hard, and dry poop) that it required enema to get the poop outta my body. Since then, I haven t pooped yet, although I ve eaten too much food. And I feel like all the wastes are stacking up, and they re gonna cause me a bad constipation all over again. And actually I m worried about that because it literally causes me lots of suffering. So, is this a serious health condition I should worry about, or is it normal?
