I have been experiencing a nagging cough for about a month and also seem to choke even when I may just have a drink of water....my insulin was changed about 3 months ago, could this be an allergic reaction? I went from Lantas to Levamir due to insurance change in payment...

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux. Taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole along with antihistamines like levocetirizine and mast cell stabilizers like monteleukast will be helpful.
