What Causes Chronic Cough And Tightness In The Chest?
I am coughing almost continuously and producing white foamy phlegm. I have tightness in my chest and it is hard to breath. I am asthmatic and have allergy s but have never experienced these sympthoms before. Is this something other than asthma or allergies

It could be an upper respiratory tract infection. Conditions like tuberculosis must be excluded. Consult a physician and plan for an sputum culture and sensitivity. Antibiotics has to be started according to the culture studies.
