What Causes Chronic Cough While On Pantoprazole?

Hi I been diagnose with gerud issue was on pantoprazole 40 mg. It been for about six mouths was doing ok but start having cought attack at times. Doctor test me and said it was post nasal drip. Than to rule out it wasn t that. So I saw another specialist ran some tests and said it came from my acid reflux. He gave me Ranitidine Hal 300. It been three nights now with this pill. I could not sleep coughting is strong and feel the acid discomfort. My question is should I continue taking this pill and go back taking pantoprazole ?

You should go back to pantoprazole and consult gastroenterologist to check for H.pylori infection. start motilium along with pantoprazole three times a day half and hour before meals.
