HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have bronchitis. This tends to cause a severe persistent cough that is associated with sputum production.
The coughing occurs because there is inflammation and partial closure of the airways.
This can occur in persons who have no history of asthma.

In addition to the antibiotics that you are using, you likely need medication to help open the airways and reduce mucus production or help the mucus to break up so that it can be expelled.
A short course of steroids with oral salbutamol and a mucolytic, may help

I hope this helps
