What Causes Chronic Cough With Phlegm?
I have a chronic cough with flem...I ve ad this ongoing for about 3 years....I use to smoke a lot but gave up smoking because this cough scared me...I gave up smoking in August 2014... The cough never went away...it s there every single day? U.S. It because I use to smoke?

I really appreciate your concern, smoker's cough is very likely and first thing you really need to do is stop the smoking, and second get done the x-ray chest it is jus to rule out some possibility of pulmonary disease, till then cough can be controlled with "Levocetirizine with Dextromethorphan" hope this helps take care and have a nice day.
