What Causes Chronic Coughing Spell Followed By Soreness In The Lungs?
I chopped many jalapeño peppers by hand, they gave me a terrible coughing spell that lasted 30 minutes or so.. Since then my lungs are sore especially when I m sleeping and try turning in bed. Is this common to deal with the sore lungs for 5 plus days?

Please get the chest x-ray ap and lateral view. I will recommend antiallergic drug as levocetirizine and prednisone plus ranitidine for you. These are prescription drugs.
