well this is kind of gross, but I m not sure what to do, so here is my question. About a year ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I am seeing an endocrinologist for this and he is currently giving me 75mg of levothyoxine which is the generic of synthroid. I recently have been having problems with diarrhea and I never have diarrhea. All my my life I have suffered constipation so this is a major for me. Now in addition to the diarrhea I now am passing these pod shaped things that float. At first I didn t believe that these things even came out of me and then it happened again. I have collected some in a specimen cup that I will give to my doctor . One of the pods came open and it was all white inside. I don t know what is going on and I dont even know which doctor to contact. My family history is strong for endocrine driven cancers, my dad died of an edocrine cancer in April 2015 age 66, and my mom has had a tumor removed from her parathyroid. Any clue to what I could have?
