Male, 52. Persistent urgent diarrhea 3-5x per day last two weeks with no breaks. No change in diet, no loss of appetite, no weight loss. No significant discomfort, no significant gas or unusual smell. Extremely active, bicycling 100miles during this time. Inconvenient, but considering to wait a few more weeks to see if it resolves. Should I seek attention Sooners?
If you are having persistent diarrhea 3 to 5 times a day, without any apparent discomfort, it would definitely be advisable that you consult a gastroenterologist for examination, investigations including stools testing, and a possible colonoscopy examination. Doctor would be in a good position to diagnose you condition and advise you on the treatment. Please get this medical help at then earliest.
