What Causes Chronic Dysphagia And How Is It Managed?

I keep swallowing my own spit and other things the wrong way. i think I may have weak epiglottis muscles. Is that possible? Should I see a doctor about it. It s annoying but not more than that I think. Although I don t think breathing spit is a good thing to do.
