estradiol and norgestimate which is used to prevent pregnancy. Besides preventing pregnancy, Sprintec may make your periods more regular, decrease blood loss and painful periods, decrease your risk of ovarian cysts and also treat acne. It works mainly by preventing the release of an egg during your menstrual cycle.
Side effects of Sprintec are fatigue, tiredness, dizziness, difficulties in concentration, headache, clouding of the lens of the eyes called cataracts, a change in the curvature of the cornea of the eye, pain upon moving the eyes and sudden blindness, migraines, impairment of memory, blurred vision, difficulty in thinking, slurred speech, depression, mood swings, diarrhea, changes in appetite, difficulty sleeping,
irregular periods, vaginal dryness, vaginal bleeding, breast tenderness and enlargement, changes in body weight, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps,
abdominal bloating, acnes, facial hair growth, delayed wound healing, easily bruising or bleeding, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects continue to persist, you should consult your doctor promptly for
