What Causes Chronic Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue, Poor Memory And Swollen Hands?
I have had chronic headaches, migrains everyday for the last 2.5 years. since april I have been having dizzy epidodes, fatigue, memory issues, my hands swell up sometimes. my neuro had an mri yesterday but I don t know the results. when she tested me for things I failed 3 test. THe one where I stand with my eyes closed and I am supposted to not wobble but I did. the other is putting my arms out with my eyes closed. my left arm slowly goes down each time. and then the muscle reacting one where she taps your knees and ankles. I always fail that one. im not sure what this could be . any possible answers
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management, you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
