What Causes Chronic Headache With History Of Sepsis And Pneumonia?
I have had ongoing continuous headaches since may 8 when I had been diagnosed with sepsis and pneumonia. I had fever of 105.1in the ER. I was in ICU for 3 days and then moved to a regular floor for 6 more days. I was prescribed cetafin for infections and then developed cdif and was put on flagyl while in hosp and continued on same meds orally for 6 weeks after my discharge . I am still getting headaches after finishing all meds. My dr told me to watch out rash but never said why . I have just started with rash on both sides of head on temple area. What could this be from
Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to drugs as rash may occur with Metronidazole or IV antibiotics, as well as with pneumonia. Sometimes Staph pneumonia can cause rash. It should be reviewed by your primary care physician and may need change of antibiotics.
